The NFL Hands Out Suspensions

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost on the road against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night by a score of 21-7. The biggest story in this game wasn’t about the win by Cleveland or the loss by Pittsburgh.

It is about what transpired on the field with less than 15 seconds to go in the game. Mason Rudolph, the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, tried to yank Myles Garrett’s helmet off.

Because of it, Garrett took Rudolph’s helmet and Myles Garrett hit him with it. There are people out their that think Garrett should not only be suspended, but also criminal charges should be pressed against him.

It is going to be interesting to see if Mason Rudolph will press charges or not.

Rudolph did not get suspended yet and that is ridiculous. He started all of this. Mason Rudolph might get suspended later on because the NFL is not done investigating this.

As of right now, Myles Garrett is suspended for the rest of the year and the postseason at minimum.

Maurkice Pouncey is suspended three games for the Pittsburgh Steelers. David DeCastro could still receive a suspension.

Larry Ogunjobi is suspended one game for the Cleveland Browns.

Both Pittsburgh and Cleveland were fined $250,000.

It will be interesting to see what other possible suspensions are handed out. This was a tremendous job done at the moment by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
